Amount: $2500

Who is Eligible: Graduating high school seniors or current undergraduates (Freshmen, Sophomore, and Junior) of Hispanic heritage majoring in Business, Engineering or Human Resources

More specifically, each applicant must:
- Be of Hispanic heritage
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 (not expired)
- Be enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program at a four-year U.S. accredited college or university in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands during the 2009-2010 academic year (enrollment is verified in the Fall)
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Be majoring in Engineering (electrical, industrial, manufacturing and mechanical) or Business (accounting, business administration, economics and finance) or Human Resources
- Must apply for federal financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Summary: The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) and General Motors (GM) have partnered to provide financial resources to assist outstanding Latino students pursuing degrees in Engineering and Business.
